Etymology

From Proto-Albanian *en-tādza, from Proto-Indo-European *tāĝ, *tāg (as implied by Baltic). Cognate to Greek τάσσω (tásso, “to arrange, to put in order”), ταγέ (tagé, “ordering, array”), Lithuanian pa-togùs (“comfortable”), su-tógti (“to marry”).[1]
