From Proto-Albanian *lunkā, from Proto-Indo-European *lewk- (“to bend”) with a nasal infix, similar to that of Old Prussian lunkis (“angle”), Lithuanian luñkanas (“supple”), Latvian llùnks (“supple”).[1]
