Hungarian

Etymology

First attested in the 17th century. From Medieval Latin -izō.[1]

politizál (to politicize, to talk/discuss politics, engage in politics)

Usage notes

  • It was also attached to a few Hungarian words (e.g. urizál), but in this role it's obsolete and no longer productive.
