貯蓄銀行 • (chochiku ginkō)
- (archaic, no longer existing in Japan) A savings bank, a thrift. Established under laws passed in 1890 during the Meiji period and in 1920 during the Taishō period. Role was later merged into that of normal banks by a law passed in 1943 during the Shōwa period.
