Ideogrammic compound (會意会意) and phono-semantic compound (形聲形声) : semantic (fire) + phonetic (shāng, quotient)

Coined by Chinese physical scientist Hu Gangfu in 1923 to translate the concept of entropy in thermodynamics, where (shāng, quotient) represents the quotient of heat and temperature, and (huǒ, fire) represents its relation to thermodynamics.
