สันติสุข

From สันติ (sǎn-dtì, “calm; peace”) +‎ สุข (sùk, “happiness; pleasure”). Compare Lao ສັນຕິສຸກ (san ti suk), Modern Khmer សន្តិសុខ (sɑntesok).

สันติสุข • (sǎn-dtì-sùk)

1. happiness caused by peace; peace itself.
   • Romans 15:33, KJV:

     บัดนี้ ขอพระเจ้าแห่งสันติสุขจงสถิตอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด เอเมน

     bàt-níi kɔ̌ɔ prá-jâao hɛ̀ng sǎn-dtì-sùk jong sà-tìt yùu gàp tân táng-lǎai tə̀ət ee-meen

     Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

   • Romans 3:17, KJV:

     และเขาไม่รู้จักทางแห่งสันติสุข

     lɛ́ kǎo mâi rúu-jàk taang hɛ̀ng sǎn-dtì-sùk

     And the way of peace have they not known

   • Isaiah 48:22, KJV:

     พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ไม่มีสันติสุขแก่คนชั่ว"

     prá-yee-hoo-waa dtràt wâa "mâi mii sǎn-dtì-sùk gɛ̀ɛ kon chûua"

     There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
