شارب بول بعير

Arabic

Etymology

Literally: “camel-urine drinker”, based on a hadith in the Sunni standard collection Sahih al-Bukhari (kitāb aṭ-ṭibb, “the Chapter of Medicine”), where Muhammad reportedly recommends a mixture of camel milk and camel urine as medicine. This was done for a particular case and at the end it did work for these particular people.
