ալարել

Armenian

Alternative forms

  • ալրգել (alrgel)

Etymology

The origin is uncertain. Ačaṙyan notes that this cannot be related to Old Armenian ալարեմ (alarem, to be ashamed) due to the difference in meaning. J̌ahukyan initially considered the relation possible, but later changed his mind.
