Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (bütün, entire, integral; undamaged); Tatar бөтен (böten), Kumyk бютюн (bütün), Crimean Tatar bütün, Kazakh бүтін (bütın), Kyrgyz бүтүн (bütün), Bashkir бөтөн (bötön), Uzbek butun, Turkmen bütin, Turkish bütün, Yakut бүттүүн (büttüün, all, entire), Chuvash пӗтӗм (pĕt̬ĕm, whole, entire).
