λαρός
See also: λάρος
Ancient Greek
Etymology
From Proto-Hellenic *lawerós, possibly related to ἀπολαύω (apolaúō, “to enjoy”).[1] Pokorny draws it from Proto-Indo-European *leh₂w- (“benefit, gain”), itself the source of ἀπολαύω (apolaúō).[2]
