Zanjireh Rural District (Persian: دهستان زنجیره) is in Shabab District of Chardavol County, Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Zanjireh-ye Olya.[3]
After the 2011 National Census, Shabab Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Shabab District, which was divided into two rural districts and the city of Shabab.[3]
At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,984 in 1,157 households. The largest of its eight villages was Zanjireh-ye Olya, with 2,724 people.[2]
