Zand District (Persian: بخش زند) is in Malayer County, Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Zangeneh. It is the namesake of the Zand dynasty.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 14,426 in 3,695 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 12,180 people in 3,776 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 10,019 inhabitants in 3,400 households.[2]
