The Xianbei had been growing in size and power for the past decades, and it had become the most powerful Asian Empire. It had forged wars with many nations, one of which was Wa. The Xianbei launched an invasion against Wa led by an unknown leader possibly Helian or Kuitou as they were the kings during 185, little is known about this war but it ended with Xianbei victory, and Wa paying tribute to the Xianbei State.[1][2][3]
