The Wildrose Loyalty Coalition is a provincial political party in Alberta, Canada, which was formed as a split from the Wildrose Independence Party of Alberta.

History

The Wildrose Loyalty Coalition was formed in March 2023 after an internal party dispute led to the ouster of Paul Hinman as leader of the Wildrose Independence Party.[2] Hinman was the founder of the WIP, but was ousted as leader in 2022. After briefly retaking control of the party, the takeover was then overruled by the court.[4] The WLC became a registered political party with Elections Alberta on May 1, 2023.[5][6]
