Victoria Burge (born 1976) is an American visual artist, known for her work in printmaking and drawing.[1][2][3]
Biography
Victoria Burge was born in 1976 in New York City, New York. Her father was the lead auctioneer for Christie's auction house.[4] Her grandparents owned an art gallery in New York City's Upper East Side, where she spent time in childhood.[4] Burge has a degree in horticulture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; and an MFA degree in printmaking from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.[5]
Her work is included in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum,[6] the Los Angeles County Museum of Art,[2] the Philadelphia Museum of Art,[7] the British Museum[5] and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.[8]
