Velykyi Bereznyi Raion (Ukrainian: Великоберезнянський район) was a raion of Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine. Its administrative center is the urban-type settlement of Velykyi Bereznyi. The raion was abolished and its territory was merged into Uzhhorod Raion on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Zakarpattia Oblast to six.[1][2] The last estimate of the raion population was 26,060 (2020 est.)[3].
