Var Posht (Persian: ورپشت; also known as Varpusht)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Var Posht Rural District of the Central District of Tiran and Karvan County, Isfahan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,908 in 855 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,990 people in 971 households[5] and, the latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,759 people in 945 households. It is the largest village in its rural district.[2]
