Ust-Avam, also known as Avam or Ust'ye Avam[1] is a settlement in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. It has a population of 513.[2]
Culture
In Ust-Avam, it is common practice to "give it, if I have it."[3] Nornickel had a five-year program to support its population.[4] It has a low fertility rate.[5] In Avam, the culture of hunting is still kept as the recent accords say that hunting was performed in 2003 and 2001.[6]
