Turów [ˈturuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogów, within Głogów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]
It lies approximately 6 km (4 mi) south-east of Głogów, and 85 km (53 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word tur, which means "aurochs".[2]
