Shangbu Station (Chinese: 上步站) is a station of Guangzhou Metro Line 8, located underground on the intersection of Shangfang North Street and Xicha Road at the west side of Shangbu Garden, Tongde Subdistrict, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The station was opened on November 26, 2020, with the opening of the northern extension of Guangzhou Metro Line 8.[1][2]
As with other stations on the northern extension of Line 8, the name of this station was published on December 2, 2016.[3]
The station has an underground island platform. Platform 1 is for trains towards Jiaoxin, whilst platform 2 is for trains towards Wanshengwei. There are 2 exits, lettered C and D. Exit D is accessible. Both exits are located on Xicha Road.
