Seize Them! is an upcoming British comedy film made by Entertainment Film Distributors, directed by Curtis Vowell, written by Andy Riley, and produced by Damian Jones and Matthew James Wilkinson. It is starring Nicola Coughlan and Aimee Lou Wood with a cast that includes Jessica Hynes, Nick Frost, Lolly Adefope, James Acaster and Ben Ashenden.
Synopsis
Set in Britain in the Dark Ages, an arrogant queen (Wood) becomes a fugitive in her own land after being toppled from her throne by a charismatic revolutionary (Coughlan).[1][2]

Production
The film is executive produced by Nigel Green, Jack Webb, Sophie Meyer, Paul Grindey and Andy Riley. The film is financed by Entertainment Film Distributors. Written by Andy Riley, the film is produced by Damian Jones and Mathew James Wilkinson. Curtis Vowell is the director.[3]
Casting
In March 2022 Aimee Lou Wood, Lolly Adefope, Nicola Coughlan, Nick Frost and Jessica Hynes were confirmed in the cast.[4] Later, James Acaster was confirmed in the role of Felix the iron monger.[5] Wood was quoted as saying “There are so many poo jokes, there is so much silliness. I have never laughed so much on a set.”[6]
Filming
Principal photography began in London in March 2022.[7] Other filming locations included Kent and Wales,[8] with filming scheduled for six weeks.[9]
Release
Entertainment Film Distributors are set to release the film in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[10] It is set to be shown in UK cinemas from 5 April 2024.[11]
