Satar Rural District (Persian: دهستان سطر) is in Kolyai District of Sonqor County, Kermanshah province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,160 in 1,327 households.[3] There were 4,181 inhabitants in 1,151 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,761 in 1,130 households. The largest of its 32 villages was Shurabad, with 500 people.[2]
