Saruq District (Persian: بخش ساروق) is in Arak County, Markazi province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Saruq.
After the 2006 National Census, Saruq Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Saruq District, which was divided into two rural districts.
The census in 2011 counted 11,328 people in 3,427 households.[3] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 10,491 inhabitants in 3,373 households.[2]
