Rudolph "Rudy" Farias IV (born October 1, 1997) is an American man who was reported as missing on 6 March 2015, aged 17, and was subsequently discovered alive, albeit slightly injured, behind a church on 2 July 2023.[1] However, his neighbours claim that he was never missing during the eight years, but was instead living with his mother in Houston.[2][3][1]

Disappearance

On 6 March 2015, Rudy took his two dogs for a walk. The dogs returned home, however Rudy did not, and was reported as missing. It was reported at the time that he had suffered from depression, having witnessed his elder brother die in a motorcycle accident.[4]
