ReLiva Physiotherapy and Rehab is an Indian physical therapy company[2] that was founded in 2014 by Subodh Gupta and Vaishali Gupta.[3][4] It is headquartered in Mumbai.[5][6] It is owned and operated by Brand New Day Ventures Private Limited.

History

Reliva Physiotherapy and Rehab was founded by Subodh Gupta and Vaishali Gupta in Mumbai. Subodh previously served as the director of Investec for the Investment banking sector in Mumbai.[7][8] He holds a bachelor's degree from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Lucknow.[9] Vaishali completed her PGPC from MICA and had a career in media and marketing communications.[10] Together, they established this company. It has an ISO 9001:2008 certification.[11]

Services

They provide services in the treatment of orthopedic cases like back pain, shoulder pain,[12][13] sports injury,[14][15] recovery after heart surgery, Neuro physiotherapy after stroke,[16] Bell's palsy [17] and pulmonary rehabilitation[18][19] for lung disease patients.[20][21]

The company uses technology for rehabilitation services. some of these are robotic rehabilitation tools like the Robotic Hand Glove, which utilizes air pressure to aid hand and finger movement recovery for reducing muscle spasms.[20][22][23] They use Robotic Rehab using Virtual Reality (VR), for physical therapy. it uses specialized robotic game-based mobility trainers that help in regaining mobility in both limbs including hands, shoulder and legs using interactive games and simulating activities of daily living. The organisation also uses Gait Lab for rehabilitation programs for correcting posture, muscular imbalance in movement.[24][23]

FabMoms

It has a division called FabMoms where it caters the healthcare needs of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period.[32][33] It was established to provide comprehensive physiotherapy and wellness services for women's health for problems like back pain and pelvic floor health during the journey of motherhood.[34][35]

RespiRehab

It has another division called RespiRehab that focuses on lung and respiratory function. They begin with an assessment of the patient's symptoms and breathing difficulties[36] some of the diseases they treat are COPD, ILD, and Lung Fibrosis. They do cardio-respiratory physiotherapy after COVID-19 recovery.[37][36]
