Qareh Aghach (Persian: قره آغاچ, also Romanized as Qareh Āghāch; also known as Qareh Āghāj)[3] is a village in Zavkuh Rural District of Pishkamar District, Kalaleh County, Golestan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,426 in 282 households, when it was in Tamran Rural District of the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,531 people in 380 households,[5] by which time Zavkuh Rural District had been separated from the district in the establishment of Pishkamar District, and the village was transferred to Zavkuh.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,445 people in 396 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
