Qaqazan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان قاقازان شرقي) is in the Central District of Takestan County, Qazvin province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Yahyaabad.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 12,890 in 2,930 households.[5] There were 12,294 inhabitants in 3,463 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,887 in 3,878 households. The largest of its 21 villages was Yahyaabad, with 3,060 people.[2]
