Pyrokinesis (クロスファイア, Kurosufaia) is a 2000 Japanese film directed by Shusuke Kaneko.[1] The film is about a woman with pyrokinetic powers seeks to avenge the murder of her friend.

Plot

Junko Aoki is a caring girl who was born with Pyrokinesis, the ability to create and control fire. She is secretly in love with Kazuki Tada, who has the same job as her. When Kazuki’s sister is killed, the authorities display a shocking amount of apathy for the situation; when a boy named Masaki is suspected of being involved with the murder, the authorities do not take action towards him whatsoever. This angers Kazuki and Junko, and the two become allies, hoping to avenge the murder of Kazuki’s sister. Eventually, Junko tells Kazuki about her powers, which she uses as a means to help their goal of avenging the murder.
