Pir Taj Rural District (Persian: دهستان پيرتاج)[3] is in Chang Almas District of Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,379 in 1,269 households.[4] There were 5,937 inhabitants in 1,573 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,845 in 1,083 households. The largest of its 20 villages was Zeynal, with 866 people.[2]
