Pasant Aahe Mulgi is a 1989 Marathi language drama film directed by V.N Mayekar and produced by Chaitanya Chitra.[1]
Plot
Chandrasen Dhurandar (Shrikant Moghe), a wealthy businessman, married to a simple girl Sushanta (Vandana Gupte), he hopes his younger brother Bansi (Nitish Bharadwaj) will marry a modern girl. However, Bansi's sister-in-law, Sushanta, prefers a more traditional match due to a past experience. Bansi, a simple guy, attends college with the modern and beautiful Madhumati (Varsha Usgaonkar), who tries to get close to him, but he keeps his distance. Chandrasen and Bansi's friend Shashi (Prashant Damle) decide to give Bansi a makeover to help him win Madhu's heart. They seek advice from Siddeshwar; Madhu's uncle (Sudhir Joshi), without her knowing. Bansi starts developing feelings for Madhu, and Chandrasen wants them to marry. However, Sushanta objects, wanting a sister-in-law of her choice.
