Pantanodon is a genus of poeciliids native to East Africa and Madagascar.

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[2]
- Pantanodon madagascariensis (Arnoult, 1963)
- Pantanodon stuhlmanni (C. G. E. Ahl, 1924) (Eastcoast lampeye)
