Ophiocomidae are a family of brittle stars of the suborder Ophiurina.
Systematics and phylogeny
Ophiocomidae has been placed (along with Ophionereididae) to the superfamily Ophiocomidea and infraorder Gnathophiurina[1] or suborder Gnathophiurina[2] in different classifications.
