Nikkō Station (日光駅, Nikkō-eki) is a railway station in the city of Nikkō, Tochigi, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
Lines
Nikkō Station forms the terminus of the Nikkō Line, and is located 40.5 kilometers from the opposing terminus of the line at Utsunomiya.
Station layout
The station consists of two opposed side platforms, connected to the station building by a footbridge. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.

History
Nikkō Station opened on 1 August 1890.[1] With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.[1]
Passenger statistics
In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 1046 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[2]
