The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation funding breast cancer research.

Since the establishment of NBCF in 1994, more than $200 million AUD has been awarded to over 600 research projects across Australia.

In this time, death rates from breast cancer in Australia have also improved by 43%.[1]

Research programs funded by NBCF focus on further understanding risk factors, improving quality of life for breast cancer patients, and developing and improving treatment outcomes.[2]

Key fundraising initiatives of NBCF include the October Pink Ribbon campaign,[3] the June GO PINK campaign,[4] and the August Step Up to Breast Cancer campaign.[5]

NBCF works with other organisations for major fundraising events such as the Mother's Day Classic,[6] a national walk-run held annually on Mother's Day.
