Music Teacher is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed and co-written by Sarthak Dasgupta.[1][2][3]

Plot

Beni is music teacher for Jonae in Solan. Jonae wins a competition, she gets singing offers from Mumbai. Jonae proposes Beni, but he asks to focus on career first. She gets upset, accepts contract and goes to Mumbai, and forgets him. Beni continues local music tuition. Geeta is Beni friend. Geeta husband goes to city and marries another woman. Geeta is sad. Beni comforts her, and they become friends with benefits. Jonai comes back to town for performance. Beni tells Geeta that he will propose Jonai. Geeta encourages him and becomes heart broken and leaves her home ( her fate is unknown). Jonai is proposed by Beni, she says its too late. Outcome- the trio was never destined to attain true love!

The film music was composed by Rochak Kohli . Kohli used two classic scores, composed by legendary music composer R.D. Burman . The songs that Kohli recreated were Phir Wohi Raat from the film Ghar and Rimjhim Gire Sawan from the film Manzil . The original scores were sung by Kishore Kumar and one by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar .
