The Murcia metropolitan area (known in Spanish as: Área metropolitana de Murcia) is the metropolitan area of Murcia. The metropolitan area is located in the Province of Murcia, with an area of 1,748 km2

In 2020 Murcia gross metropolitan product was €29.720 billion. This puts Murcia in 72nd place among cities in European Union.[2]
