Muntelier-Löwenberg railway station (German: Bahnhof Muntelier-Löwenberg, French: Gare de Muntelier-Löwenberg) is a railway station in the municipality of Murten, in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. It is located at the northern junction of the standard gauge Fribourg–Ins and Palézieux–Lyss lines of Swiss Federal Railways.[1] It takes its name from the nearby municipality of Muntelier.
Services
As of the December 2021 timetable change, the following services stop at Muntelier-Löwenberg:[4][5]
- Bern S-Bahn: S5: hourly service between Bern and Murten/Morat; rush-hour trains continue from Murten/Morat to Payerne.
- RER Vaud R9: hourly service between Lausanne and Kerzers.
- RER Fribourg S21: hourly service between Romont and Ins.
