Moraida is a census-designated place (CDP) in Starr County, Texas, United States. It is a new CDP formed from part of the North Escobares CDP prior to the 2010 census with a population of 212.[1]

Geography

Moraida is located at 26°24′51″N 98°58′35″W / 26.41417°N 98.97639°W / 26.41417; -98.97639 (26.414278, -98.976417).[2]

Education

It is in the Roma Independent School District.[3] The zoned elementary school is Veterans Memorial Elementary School.[4] Roma High School is the district's sole comprehensive high school.
