Melanderia is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae.[2] It is distributed along the West Coast of the United States, and members of the genus live in the intertidal zone.[3]

The genus is divided into two subgenera, Melanderia and Wirthia:[4]
- Subgenus Melanderia Aldrich, 1922:
- Melanderia crepuscula Arnaud, 1958[4] – California (Pacific Grove)
- Melanderia mandibulata Aldrich, 1922[1] – Washington, Oregon, California
