Margaux Marianne Chauvet (born 27 May 2002) is a soccer player who plays as a defender for Sydney Uni SFC. Born in Ivory Coast to French parents,[1] she is an Australia youth international.[2]
Early life
Chauvet and her family relocated to Australia due to civil unrest in Africa, where they were living at the time.[3]
Club career
Chauvet starter her career with Illawarra Stingrays.[1] After that, she signed for Western Sydney Wanderers.[4] In 2022, she signed for Icelandic side KR.[5]
International career
In 2020, Chauvet was invited to the Australia youth women's national soccer team's first Talent Identification Camp.[7]
Style of play
Chauvet mainly operates as a defender but has played as a midfielder at senior level.[8]
Personal life
Chauvet is the daughter of Renauld Chauvet.[9]
