Lashar District (Persian: بخش لاشار) is a former administrative division of Nik Shahr County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Espakeh.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 26,576 in 5,663 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 30,720 people in 7,721 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 33,973 inhabitants in 9,123 households.[2]
After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Lashar County.[6]

Etymology
The name Lashar derives from the son of Mir Jalal Khan, Mir Lashar Khan, ruler of the territory in the 12th century.
