The Landkreis Teschen (in the documents also Olsaland or Olsa area) existed between 1939 and 1945 in Poland and Sudeten Silesia occupied by the German Reich. It covered 1462 km2 (the second-largest district in the Reich), on January 1, 1945, 16 municipalities administered according to the German Municipal Code, of which seven were cities and 115 other municipalities combined in administrative districts.[1]
