Kumasi Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوماسي)[3] is in the Central District of Marivan County, Kurdistan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,655 in 1,058 households.[4] There were 3,586 inhabitants in 922 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,972 in 853 households. The largest of its 20 villages was Geleyeh, with 479 people.[2]
