Komorów [kɔˈmɔruf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tomaszów Mazowiecki, within Tomaszów Mazowiecki County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Tomaszów Mazowiecki and 44 km (27 mi) south-east of the regional capital Łódź.
History
During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), the occupiers operated a forced labour camp for Poles and Jews at a local sawmill.[2]
