Khamsavath railway station, also known as Vientiane-Tai Railway Station is the railway station located in Nonvai Village, Saysetha district, Vientiane prefecture. Extended 7.5 km (4.7 mi) further from the former terminus, Thanaleng station became the new terminus of Northeastern Line from Thailand.
Construction began in October 1, 2019, with plans of completion by 2021 pushed back to May 2023 due to unexpected delays.[2] It officially opened that October 31.[3]
The shuttle train operates between Khamsavath and Nong Khai four round trips for a day. The service may extend to Udon Thani station and Nakhon Ratchasima in 2024.[4]
