Jesper Klein (13 November 1944 – 22 August 2011)[1][2] was a Danish actor. He appeared in over 80 films and television shows since 1968. He starred in the 1969 film Ballad of Carl-Henning, which was entered into the 19th Berlin International Film Festival. Klein received the 1984 Robert Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in Nils Malmros' Beauty and the Beast.[3]

From 1970 to 2006 he was married to Lykke Nielsen, they have a son Sebastian. Lykke died in 2006. Jesper Klein died on August 22, 2011, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 66.
