The Guisane is a river in the Hautes-Alpes department, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France, a subtributary of the Rhône and tributary of the Durance (in Briançon). It takes its source in Le Monêtier-les-Bains at the Col du Lautaret. It is 27.7 km (17.2 mi) long.[1] Its drainage basin is 200 km2 (77 sq mi).[2] It has an average discharge of 5.19 m3/s (183 cu ft/s) in Saint-Chaffrey.
