Gabriele Biancheri (born 18 September 2006) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United.

Club career

Biancheri started his career in the academy of Cardiff City, where his prolific goal-scoring form earned him a call-up to the club's under-21 side, featuring in a 1–0 Premier League Cup home loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers on 3 December 2022.[1] After over nine years with the Welsh club, Biancheri moved to Manchester United in February 2023.[2][3]

International career

Biancheri is reportedly of Italian descent, and thus is able to represent England, Italy and Wales at international level.[3][4] He has represented Wales at under-16 and under-17 level.[5]

He played for Wales at the Under-17 EUROs in 2023, scoring once against Poland as Wales crashed out at the group stage.[6]

Style of play

Described as a "pacy, sharp and dynamic forward", Biancheri is comfortable playing across the front three, while also capable of playing in the number 10 role.[7]
