Eshtehard County (Persian: شهرستان اشتهارد, Ŝhahrestān-e Eŝtāhārd) is in Alborz province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Eshtehard.[3]

In August 2010, Karaj County, Nazarabad County, and Savojbolagh County were separated from Tehran province in the establishment of Alborz province.[4]

In June 2012, Eshtehard District was separated from Karaj County in the establishment of Eshtehard County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Eshtehard as its capital and only city at the time.[3]

At the 2016 census, the population of the county was 37,876 in 11,731 households.[2]

In October 2019, the village of Palangabad was elevated to the status of a city.[5]
