Edens Landing railway station is located on the Beenleigh line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the suburb of Edens Landing in Logan City.
History
The upgrade of the train services in the 1980s led Leighton Developers to pay for a station at Edens Landing.[1] It was installed and named in about 1985,[2] and opened in January 1986.[1] On 21 April 1992, a second platform opened as part of the duplication of the line.[3] The road to the station was flooded in 2018, effecting the morning commute.[4] Also, in 2018, a lock it or lose it was conducted of the railway station car-park and, overall, the police were pleased with the compliance.[5] The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project will be doubling the number of tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh, with modernised rail systems, station upgrades, and level crossing removals,[6] which will affect the Edens Landing station. In November 2023, an upgraded station had been proposed.[7]
